High Quality & Heavy Duty Full Body Elastomeric Putty

Rain or Shine Power Putty is a heavy duty water-based putty for repairing up to 3mm cracks, dents, scratches and other surface imperfections of masonry surfaces. It is used in conjunction with Rain or Shine Elastomeric Waterproofing Paint for exterior and interior applications.

Application:

For new concrete:

New concrete should be given enough curing time ranging from one week to one month to reduce water and alkali to a safe level. Excess alkalinity should be neutralized with Concrete Neutralizer. Allow the surface to dry thoroughly. Dust-off crystalline deposits if there are any.

Apply 1 coat Rain or Shine Elastomeric Waterproofing Paint or Rain or Shine Elasto-Proofer or Rain or Shine Prepa-White.

Repair all minor surface imperfections with Rain or Shine Power Putty (ROS-5000). Let dry and then sand. Drying time of Rain or Shine Power Putty (ROS-5000) depends on the wet film thickness of the applied putty.

Apply 2 coats Rain or Shine Elastomeric Waterproofing Paint or Rain or Shine Dirt Shield. Allow 3-4 hours drying in between coats. Increasing the number of coats will effectively improve the waterproofing capability and durability.

Renovation/Repainting:

Remove any flaking or peeling-off paint. Clean and sand old paint in good condition and dust-off before repainting.

Apply 1 coat of Rain or Shine Elastomeric Waterproofing Paint. If a lighter colour is to be used over dark colours, apply1 coat ROS-7000 Rain or Shine Prepa-White. For extra protection against efflorescence, apply 1 coat ROS-8000 Rain or Shine Elasto-Proofer (plain finish) as primer for both interior and exterior application.
